This table is a perfect fusion of nature’s raw beauty and human creativity. I chose to let the charred wood take the lead, with its irregular forms forming the very core of the piece. Fire transforms the wood into something untamed and powerful, leaving behind a chaotic texture. To balance this ruggedness, I used sleek glass for the legs and the tabletop—its smooth, clean lines trace and highlight the natural edges of the wood. The contrast between destruction and elegance, nature and design, gives the table its unique harmony. It is a piece that feels alive, a meeting point between the unpredictable beauty of the wild and the precision of the human touch.
