“Atsaka” coffee table is like an excavation — a form that rested in darkness for many years. Its shape holds time within it: knots, offshoots, and a cavity that was not created, but emerged. These are traces of processes that took place quietly, without witnesses.
The edges are not sharp — they are smoothed as if by water, wind, and sand. The form speaks of movement and patience, of how material changes not in an instant, but over years.
The glass top is cut to follow the table’s upper form precisely, tracing its contours. It introduces clarity and function without taking attention away, becoming a calm layer above a complex, living structure.
