This table is made from an invasive tree species. A conscious choice that invites us to question where deficiency truly lies. Often, it exists not in the material itself, but within us — in our beliefs about what is useful, valuable, or beautiful.

The natural wood patterns, knots, small spikes, and light tone stand as a quiet resistance to those beliefs. They suggest that when a material is allowed to exist as it is, beauty begins to unfold on its own. Without force, without correction, without the need to “fix” it.

The central opening in the wood, covered with clear tempered glass, introduces structure and calm. The linear geometry of the glass visually connects with the lines of the metal legs, creating balance and a sense of order. It is a subtle dialogue between organic chaos and clarity.

This table is not complete in isolation. It invites imagination — to see how it might live within a space, how it adapts to its surroundings, how it becomes part of them. Not an imposed form, but an open possibility.
