“Defect” table is a deliberately chosen name, one that invites reflection on what we tend to label as a flaw. On its side, the wood reveals traces of natural decay — once present, shaped by time. Is this a defect, or is it a value?
This area does not demand attention or compete for it. It is a quiet beauty, subtle and restrained, yet essential. It speaks of time, of processes that unfolded without intervention, and of a kind of value that only appears when we allow ourselves to look more closely.
Slim metal legs give lightness to the massive form. Together with the rectangular glass top, they frame the object, introducing structure and balance while allowing the wood to remain the central focus.
“Defect” is not about imperfection.
It is about perspective.
